In addition to more than 5  years of home inspecting, my background includes  years of Engineering experience and the repair and building of homes, additions and renovations.  I have also been professionally trained and certified (#107898Ct) for home inspections by Inspection Training Associates (ITA) http://homeinspection.com in Connecticut.

As a Certified Inspector (#243765) in the American Society of Home Inspectors http://ASHI.com, and a certified member (#04051007) of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI) http://nachi.org, I have a commitment to you, the client, to be non biased and to inspect and report conditions that meet or exceed the Ethics and Standards of ASHI and NACHI.  I am also certified by the Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors http://homeinspectionexam.org.

I am a member of the Environmental Solutions Association (#1911) and the International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants (#IAC2-00-2917), trained and certified to collect air, carpet and swab samples for analysis of mold by professional technicians at Pro-Labs.

I have also been certified to inspect in Disaster Areas for FeMa through the Partnership for Response and Recovery inspection company (www.parrinspections.com)
